Chinese Name: Hubba HubbaAlias: Faucaria crassisepalaScientific Name: Faucaria crassisepalaFamily and Genus: Aizoaceae, FaucariinaeDistribution: Great Karoo高原, South AfricaHaworthia 'Hubba Hubba' Plant Introduction
Haworthia 'Hubba Hubba', Faucariinae, native to the limestone regions of the Great Karoo高原 in South Africa, prefers warm and dry conditions with ample sunlight, is not cold-tolerant, and can tolerate semi-shade and drought. It dislikes excessive moisture and intense sunlight exposure, and has slight dormancy in the summer. The plant grows densely in clusters, is very succulent, with leaves十字-shaped, opposite, and base united, triangular tips, hard-capped epidermis on the leaf margins and keel of the back, white small meat teeth on the leaf surface, and coarse fibrous hairs on the margins. The leaves are flat with white dots and are relatively long. The flowers of Haworthia 'Hubba Hubba' are large and sessile, primarily yellow in color.
Haworthia 'Hubba Hubba' needs ample sunlight to achieve vibrant leaf colors and a tighter, more attractive growth habit. Insufficient sunlight results in green leaves and a loose arrangement of leaves, which tend to stretch out. Depending on its growth state, repotting can be done every two to four years, with the pot diameter slightly larger than the plant diameter to promote growth. The soil must be dry before watering, and a slow-release fertilizer can be applied. Propagation is done through sowing, decapitation, taking side芽 for cutting, and cross-pollination. Haworthia 'Hubba Hubba' forms a rather attractive cluster when grown together.
