Aloinopsis luckhoffii
Produced in Cape Province, South Africa. A small, perennial, succulent herbaceous plant that resembles the plants of the Fairy genus. The leaves are similar to spoons, with a blunt, rounded triangular tip, succulent,明显 thicker than the lower part of the leaf, and green. The succulent leaves are arranged in a loose rosette, with the base united. The plant grows in clusters, with thick, succulent roots, no stems, leaves densely covered with tongue-like small papillae, and scattered spiky protrusions, resembling the spines of a sea cucumber. Under long-term strong sunlight, the leaves will turn a very beautiful natural yellow. Young Fairy Robe plants grow singly, while older plants grow densely in clusters and easily form groups.
The flowers have a diameter of 1 to 2 centimeters, with a light yellow color and a silky sheen. The blooming period is from late spring to early summer, usually opening in the sunny afternoons and closing in the evenings, repeating the process the next day. This pattern of opening in the day and closing at night can last for 3 to 5 days for a single flower. The flowers of Fairy Robe emerge from the gap between two leaves, usually with only one flower per plant, making the blooming of clustered plants very spectacular.
