The flowers are large, fragrant, and beautiful, making them the superior among begonias. 4-7 flowers cluster together, with red buds that look like dots of rouge before they bloom, which then gradually turn pink, resembling dawn's rosy clouds. Due to the variety of cultivated species, the fruit shapes, sizes, colors, and ripening periods differ, hence names like Hot Red, Cold Red, Iron Red, Purple Begonia, Red Begonia, Old海棠 Red, and Octagonal Begonia.
