Aquatic Flower Amazon Water Lily Plant Introduction

The Amazon Water Lily is a perennial or annual large floating-leaf herbaceous plant, with an erect rhizome, well-developed adventitious roots, and white in color. The primary leaves are needle-shaped, the leaf surface is green with a slight red tinge, wrinkled, the underside is purplish red with spines, and the leaf veins form a radial network. The flowers are solitary, often emerging above the water to bloom, large and beautiful; the petals are numerous, obovate, white on the first day with a white magnolia fragrance, and on the second day the petals turn from light red to deep red. The fruit is spherical, and the seeds are black. The flowering and fruiting period is from July to September (can extend to December in a greenhouse). It requires a high temperature, high humidity, and abundant sunlight environment for growth and development. In garden water landscapes, it becomes the king of aquatic flowers.
