Superstition of orchid blooming
In traditional China culture, orchid flowering has always been regarded as an auspicious sign. This plant, known as the "King's Fragrance", not only carries profound humanistic connotations, but its flowering phenomenon also gives rise to many feng shui stresses. As a representative variety of inter-year flowering, Hanlan, a plant messenger with good news in seasons, spans from November to February of the following year. The ancients observed this openness across old and new years and regarded it as an auspicious link connecting time and space. In the Jiangnan area, there is a proverb that "five petals of cold orchids bloom, adding five blessings to the New Year." Each flower corresponds to five types of good luck: blessing, wealth, longevity, happiness and wealth. 2. The business community in southern Fujian still retains the tradition of "Mo orchid opens, noble people come." Blooming Mo orchid is often placed in the office to pray for the prosperity of business. 2. The secret of scientific maintenance and flower promotion 1. Scattering light from the four elements of light, warm water and fertilizer for 3-5 hours a day is the key to promoting flowers. A combination of east-facing window sill + shading net can be used. The watering method of "seeing dry, seeing wet" is used, and sprayed with 1000 times potassium dihydrogen phosphate for half a month. Maintaining a temperature difference of 8℃ between day and night can effectively stimulate flower bud differentiation. 2.
