Banyan Tree Bonsai refers to the art of using banyan trees as materials to appreciate their unique trunk, roots, stems, and leaves. Through pruning, branching, wiring, and grafting, carefully cultivated over a long period to control their growth and development, it becomes a unique artistic shape of potted banyan tree bonsai. The aerial roots growing on the branches extend downward into the soil to form new trunks, known as "prop roots." Banyan trees can reach 30 meters in height and extend infinitely in all directions. The intertwining of their prop roots and branches resemble a dense forest, hence the name "single tree forming a forest."
