How to make蟹爪兰 (Disocactus) bloom
For most women, the topic of how to make the succulent plant蟹爪兰 bloom is of interest. Below, the editor will introduce the methods to everyone.
Some gardening enthusiasts don't know how to make蟹爪兰 bloom. In fact,蟹爪兰 not only blooms easily but can also bloom more. Here is some experience from gardening enthusiasts for reference.
I have been raising蟹爪兰 for several years, and my蟹爪lan starts blooming from the end of October to the beginning of November each year, continuously until the end of May to the beginning of June the following year. Most people don't know that蟹爪lan can bloom continuously, assuming it blooms only once. To allow everyone's蟹爪lan to bloom multiple times, I am sharing my personal experience here and welcome everyone to exchange ideas.
Every year, as autumn ends and the weather cools down, start applying phosphorus-potassium fertilizer to蟹爪lan, such as Huaduo 2 and Cuiyun Biokaihua. Monopotassium phosphate is the next best option. You can dilute it to a concentration of 1:800-1:1000 for root irrigation and stem spraying to induce bud formation until blooming. During this period, you can use Cuiyun Biwang, Huaduo 1, and other balanced fertilizers a few times to promote stem plumpness, storing enough nutrients for the bloom.
After blooming, the stems of蟹爪lan may wilt. Trim the severely wilted stems, apply a balanced fertilizer like Cuiyun Biwang or Huaduo 1, and then continue applying phosphorus-potassium fertilizer to induce more buds. If the light is too strong, you can shade the plant in the morning and evening to meet the short-daylight requirement for bud formation in蟹爪lan.
Using the above method, in the Qingdao area,蟹爪lan can bloom 3-4 times a year depending on the year.
