How to kill small black flies: Three drug trials, methods to eliminate small black flies with three drugs.

How to kill small black flies

Today, let's introduce some knowledge about the flower clinic, specifically how to kill small black flies. Let's take a look together.

Whether it's sowing meat plants or using nutrient-rich soil to grow other plants, flower enthusiasts are troubled by small black flies, especially those with enclosed balconies. As a result, they search everywhere for methods to kill small black flies. This article mainly focuses on insecticide treatments, recording the experiments of flower enthusiasts using three types of insecticides for reference.

In the midst of a busy schedule, I took a lunch break to buy pymetrozine and flower protector at the flower market. If I delay any further, my seedlings might be eaten up...

Let's first look at the instructions for the two drugs. Pymetrozine costs 2.5 yuan per bag, 2g, and can be used for one mu of land (this ratio is really hard to grasp). The instructions seem straightforward, mentioning contact kill, stomach poison, and systemic action, which are very powerful functions.

Precautions are as follows: Various strict items, I don't know if it's because of the high toxicity, but the instructions are quite clear.

Now let's look at the flower protector, which comes in a box of 4 bottles for 5 yuan, each bottle containing 5ml. The proportion is also clearly marked, but the product nature and precautions are a bit vague.

I won't introduce the small white insecticide, as I bought it with a flower enthusiast. When I received it, there was just a bottle without any packaging instructions.

Then, I set up 3 groups of experimental samples.

Preparing flower protector, the appearance of the flower protector medicine can be seen. Without opening the cap, a faint strange smell can be detected, and the medicine is relatively oily. When poured into the bottle, it all floats on the water surface (red area), which should be a substance that is difficult to dissolve in water. It can only be shaken to mix evenly.

Preparing pymetrozine solution, inside the bag are granules that look similar to the small white insecticide, so I didn't take a picture. I poured some into another bottle and shook it well. Compared to the flower protector, the smell is not very noticeable. The prepared medicine is then poured into the corresponding test boxes and left to stand for 20 minutes.

The small white insecticide is quite rough and simple, just sprinkle a little into the box and pour water directly in.

I mainly observed the situation in the seedling trays, which were filled with pymetrozine. After a while, I noticed that the larvae were struggling to climb out of the soil and then stopped moving. The other two boxes were checked for larvae by picking through the soil with a toothpick after 20 minutes.

The results are as follows:

1. The effect of pymetrozine, I only found 2 dead larvae that爬 out, and didn't dig deeper.

2. The effect of flower protector, I searched for a long time and almost went blind, but the larvae were dead through and through.

3. The effect of the small white insecticide, when I opened it, they all looked spirited, jumping around on the lid...

To see the effect of pymetrozine again, I sprinkled a little pymetrozine in the small white insecticide box and then threw the larvae on it. The larvae died after about 30 seconds.

Through the experiment, both pymetrozine and flower protector can directly kill the larvae, while the small white insecticide had no effect within 20 minutes. In terms of smell, pymetrozine has the smallest smell, flower protector has a larger smell, and the small white insecticide doesn't have a strong smell when used in small amounts (every time I open the cap, the smell of rotten cabbage hits my nose...)

As for toxicity and residue, you can search online for more information. I won't say more about it. The research on small black flies is over, thank you for your support.

ps. This experiment is still not rigorous enough, it is just a visual observation of the effect, for reference only when killing insects in the future.

The above () introduces the comprehensive introduction of how to kill small black flies with three types of drug experiments, hoping to bring some knowledge about green plants to green plant enthusiasts.
