Dreamba cultivation method
Today I bring you plant experience about Dreamba, a succulent plant. Let's learn about the cultivation method of Dreamba together.
Dreamba, also known as Sijiao Mengda娜, is a succulent plant belonging to the Sedum family. It looks similar to宽叶花簪, but the leaves of 宽叶花簪 are smooth and hairless. Dreamba needs adequate sunlight to make its leaf color vibrant and its plant shape tighter and more beautiful, and the leaves and wart dots will also turn a bit dreamy red.
If Dreamba receives too little sunlight, the leaves will be light yellow-green, the leaves will be loosely arranged, and the plant will become thin and elongated. Dreamba is a small plant that needs to be repotted every 1-2 years as it grows. The pot diameter can be 1-2 inches larger than the plant diameter to promote plant growth. The soil must be dry before watering, and a slow-release fertilizer can be applied once per quarter.
Dreamba propagation uses the side bud method and leaf insertion method, which can be carried out throughout the year.
Grower's case:
Kite is kept outdoors, but once the temperature exceeds 35 degrees, it is moved to bright scattered light to gradually reduce watering. During the entire summer dormancy period, little or no water is given. By mid-September, when the temperature drops, watering is resumed. Dreamba adapted to the outdoor environment can still grow normally in summer, with less obvious dormancy, although a small number of bottom leaves may dry out.
In winter, if the temperature can be maintained above 0 degrees, watering can be provided. Below 0 degrees, watering should be stopped, otherwise it is prone to frostbite. Although it is cold in winter, it is not necessary to completely stop watering throughout the winter. A small amount of water can be given at the appropriate time near the root of the plant. Do not spray or give too much water, as moisture staying in the leaf heart for too long can easily cause rot.
In spring, as the temperature rises, watering can be gradually restored to normal. Dreamba is still a very easy-to-grow variety. In addition to needing proper shading in summer, it can be exposed to full sunlight in other seasons. The soil used by Kite is a mixture of peat and granular coal slag and river sand, with clean granular coal slag laid on the soil surface, mainly for breathability.
