Wuyuewan (Epithelantha micromeris ssp. unguispina) belongs to the cactus family, genus Epithelantha, and is a subspecies of Epithelantha. The plant is small, either spherical or cylindrical, with fine spines arranged in a spiral pattern. Its native origin is in the northern part of Mexico.
