Fleshy Plant Renwangguan Plant Attributes
Chinese Name Renwangguan Alias Latin Name Agave titanota Family Agavaceae Genus Agave Origin DistributionFleshy Plant Renwangguan Introduction
Renwangguan is a perennial succulent plant of the Agavaceae family Agave genus, with no stems and a plant diameter of 20-30 centimeters. The succulent leaves are arranged in a rosette pattern, with the upper half of the leaves being narrowly elliptical, the tip pointed, and equipped with sharp dark brown spines. The leaf edges have a deep brown keratin layer. The leaves are green, covered with white powder, and the new leaves show the "squeezing" marks of the old leaves' hard spines on the surface. The leaf edges have wavy teeth, each with a sharp spine at the tip, and the spines at the leaf tip are long and thick, with new spines being yellowish-brown and old spines being whitish-brown. Under strong light, the plant's leaves are thick and short, while under weak light, the leaves tend to elongate easily. Although it does not easily become leggy, once it does, it is difficult to bring it back. I have never seen it bloom.
