Family and Genus: Portulaca annual succulent herbaceous plant.

Morphological Characteristics: The plant creeps, with many branches, stems and leaves are succulent and juicy. Leaves are small, alternate, obovate, entire, thick, and soft. Flowers are light yellow, usually 3-5 blossoms cluster at the ends of branches and leaf axils, without peduncles, blooming at noon. Flowers from June to August, fruits from July to October, seeds are reniform-ovate and black.
