The Jade Fan (Haworthia truncata), also known as Truncated Twelve 卷, is a succulent plant belonging to the Liliaceae family and Twelve 卷 genus. The plant has no stem, with its fleshy leaves arranged in two rows forming a fan shape, the leaves standing upright and slightly bending inward with a slightly sunken top. The surface is rough, ranging from green to dark green-brown, with small wart-like protrusions. The cross-section of new leaves is transparent and appears grayish-white. Some varieties also have grayish-white transparent patterns on the cross-section of the leaves. Its horticultural variety, Jade Fan Brocade, has leaves with yellow or pink patterns, making it even more beautiful.
