Qin Luan Pleiospilos simulans——Aizoaceae, Di Yu Gen (Opposite Leaf Flower Genus), native to the Cape Province of South Africa, also known as Phoenix Wing, Qing Luan. The leaves are opposite, very fleshy, 6-8 cm long, 5-7 cm wide, and 1-1.5 cm thick. The base is slightly united, ovate-triangular, with a pointed tip. The leaf color is brownish-green with quite distinct transparent dots. Flowers 1-4, yellow or light yellow, fragrant. Qing Luan is similar to Di Yu in appearance, resembling ingots but more open. What clearly distinguishes it from Di Yu is its robust nature, fast growth, and relatively easy management in summer, making it suitable for enthusiasts in most parts of China. Attention should also be paid to ventilation and shading during the midsummer, and its dormancy period is much shorter than that of Di Yu. If it can maintain temperatures above 7°C in winter, it will continue to grow.
