Euphorbia obesa——Belonging to the Euphorbiaceae family, Euphorbia genus, also known as Huàngyù, Àobèishā, native to the Cape Province of South Africa. The plant is small and round, with a diameter of 8—12 cm. It has 8 ridges, neatly arranged. The epidermis is gray-green with red-brown stripes crisscrossing, with denser stripes at the top. There are small, brown, blunt teeth on the ridge edges. Dioecious, female plants have a flatter spherical shape, while male plants have cylindrical stems, both solitary and never producing offsprings. Flowers bloom at the top of the spherical ridge—very small, yellow-green.
