18. Redwood: Rhizophoraceae, trees or shrubs, 2-4 meters high. Has prop roots. Cymose inflorescence, flowers 2, on the small branches have shed leaf axils, peduncle shorter than petiole, pedicel absent, bracts fused into cup-shaped. The fruit is ovoid. 20. Euphorbia: Also known as Old Thorns, Lion Thorns,麒麟花, Euphorbiaceae general characteristics: Erect or slightly climbing shrubs. Stem: Thick, up to 1 meter long, thorns hard and pointed, 1-2.5 cm long, arranged in 5 rows on the longitudinal ridges of the stem. Leaves: Usually growing on tender branches, obovate or oblong spatulate, 2.5-5 cm long, apex rounded with a small convex tip, base narrow cuneate. 21. Ginseng Fruit: Solanaceae, fruit and ornamental herbaceous plants. In tropical and subtropical regions, it is a small shrub. In China and Japan, it is cultivated as an annual.
