Kordana roses (Kordana® potroses) are a group of special miniature roses that are suitable for gardens, terraces, balconies, and potted plants. The Kordana series of roses are increasingly popular because they incorporate fashionable elements while retaining the characteristics of old garden roses. They are widely planted for their exceptional qualities, such as large flowers, resembling hybrid tea roses, long flower stems, and a longer flowering period, as well as green and healthy leaves.
All Kordana varieties are bred by the German company W. Kordes' Söhne and are tested in Denmark under the supervision of the Danish Institute of Agricultural Sciences. Only after passing the tests can the varieties enter the market.
1. Key points for planting Kordana series roses:
Kordana roses do not like high temperatures, so during the hot summer period, they should not be placed in direct sunlight. Placing them in a cool, well-lit location will help them bloom for a longer time. Kordana roses do not perform well in drought conditions. Therefore, they should be watered daily in the summer and every 2-3 days in the winter. Nutrients should be added to the water weekly in the summer and every 15 days in the winter. After flowering, cut back to 5 cm above the soil. In suitable climates, they will bloom again in 6 weeks. Larger pots and fresh soil will help them grow healthy.
