How long can a Chinese orchid live?

Many orchid enthusiasts wonder how long Chinese orchids can live. Although there is no definitive conclusion yet, it is possible to see Chinese orchids still blooming at around 30 years old (with two examples provided in the text). This indicates that Chinese orchids can at least live for 30 years.
Example 1: According to Yangzi Evening News, Mr. Gong Liansheng from Danyang has been cultivating an orchid (given as a gift in 1986) that has bloomed almost every year. By 2015, it even produced two flower stems, which means the orchid is already 29 years old!
Example 2: An orchid enthusiast in Jinchang has been caring for their orchid since 1990, and it has now reached 25 years (as shown in the photo below).
Through the above two examples, although we cannot determine exactly how long Chinese orchids can live, it is clear that they can live to at least 30 years old. Moreover, as shown in Example 1, the orchid still has strong vitality, so the lifespan of Chinese orchids should be even longer.
Is there any secret to keeping Chinese orchids alive for so long? Fortunately, Mr. Gong Liansheng shared his cultivation methods. He said that he doesn't have any special techniques; he treats the orchid just like any other plant, watering it on time and occasionally applying some compound fertilizer, "But the compound fertilizer should not be excessive, or it will burn the plant. When the temperature is low in winter, I don't place it on the balcony and move it indoors to avoid freezing damage."
