Observations show that when the room temperature is above 23°C, the blooming period of hydroponic narcissus is about a week; at 15°C to 20°C, the blooming period is about 10 days; at 8°C to 12°C, the blooming period can be extended to 15 to 20 days. Therefore, as long as there is a low-temperature environment, you can effectively extend the blooming period of narcissus.
When one or two narcissus flower buds open, you can take the bulb out of the pot, put it in a small plastic bag, and store it in the refrigerator storage room. After a few days, take it out and continue to nurture it in the flower pot, which can bloom normally. The narcissus head (scape) can also be refrigerated. When the first narcissus flower opens, cut the scape, put it in a glass of water, and place it in the refrigerator, keeping the temperature at 1°C to 3°C. It can be stored for 2 to 3 weeks.
