Osmanthus syringa Plant Introduction

Osmanthus syringa is a shrub or small tree, 1-4 meters tall. The bark is gray-green. The leaves are alternate, mostly concentrated at the tip of the young branches; they are nearly leathery; the leaf blades are elliptical, elliptical-lanceolate to oblanceolate. The raceme is solitary at the upper part of the young branch, with yellow flowers. The fruit is elliptical-obovate, with light brown pubescence.
