When encountering damage to the main stem or the need to reshape, mastering the correct sprouting techniques can bring new life to a bare stump. Top Light Induction Method
After cutting the main stem, the Lucky Bamboo needs to re-establish a growth point. Move the plant to a southeast-facing windowsill and use an adjustable-height grow light for top lighting. Maintain 6-8 hours of scattered light daily to activate dormant buds through phytochrome regulation. Be careful to avoid direct sunlight at noon and it is recommended to use a shade net to filter 30% of the light intensity.
Phased Nutrient Supply
In the sprouting stage, it is recommended to use a liquid fertilizer with an N-P-K ratio of 15-5-10, diluted 300 times and watered every 10 days. Combined with foliar application of a 0.1% ferrous sulfate solution, it can prevent new leaves from yellowing. When new buds grow to 5 cm, switch to fermented soybean cake water, applied once every half month to promote lignification.
