Tulip flowering time
Tulips are native to the high mountainous areas of Iran and Turkey. Due to the Mediterranean climate, tulips have adapted to wet and cold winters and dry and hot summers. Their characteristics are summer dormancy, root growth and germination of new buds in autumn and winter but not emerging from the soil, and starting to grow stems and leaves in early February of the following year (with temperatures above 5℃) after experiencing low winter temperatures, blooming from March to April.
The flowering time of tulips varies, with some blooming as early as the beginning of March and others not until the end of April. The blooming period is short, usually about ten days.

What to do after tulips bloom?
Method 1: For home gardening, after the flowers fade, take out the bulbous roots and place them in the sun, then store them in a shady place; until autumn comes, put them in a flower pot, water them, and store them outdoors like wheat, which will naturally bloom the following year.
Method 2: After the flowers fade, except for the mother plants reserved for seeds, the stems of the rest should be cut off promptly to allow nutrients to concentrate on the development of new bulbs. Do not store them in the freezer; instead, keep them in a thawing state, otherwise, they will freeze to death.
