Be careful not to overwater butterfly orchids, especially avoid getting them rained on. When watering, avoid getting the leaves wet, as this can cause leaf rot. Water once a day during the vigorous growing season of spring and summer, and reduce the watering amount in autumn and winter, generally watering every two to five days. If the plant is dry, it can be sprayed with water to increase humidity.
