As a representative of tropical ornamental plants, the winter care of rosehip directly affects the blooming quality of the following year. Accurate Temperature Control
Rosehip thrives best at temperatures between 15-25℃, and it needs to be moved indoors if the temperature is continuously below 10℃ for three days. In the northern heating areas, it is recommended to place it 1 meter away from the radiator, while in the southern non-heating areas, a heating mat can be used to assist in warming, and a temporary insulation shed can be built with plastic film at night.
Scientific Light Management
In winter, ensure at least 4 hours of direct sunlight every day, and it is suggested to place it on a south-facing windowsill. Use a lux meter to monitor and maintain the light intensity at 5000-8000 lux. If the light is insufficient, a plant growth lamp can be used to supplement light for 2 hours daily.

Accurate Water Supply
Adopt the "three-look watering method": look at the pot soil (top 3cm dry), the leaves (slightly wilted), and the weather (sunny noon). When watering, use warm water at 25℃ and water slowly along the edge of the pot to avoid water accumulating in the core of the leaves.
Scientific Nutrition Ratio
In early November, apply potassium dihydrogen phosphate (1:1500) to enhance cold resistance. Stop fertilizing completely from December to February, and in early March, during the transition period, apply a slow-release fertilizer containing trace elements to avoid excessive nitrogen causing Luxuriant growth.

Emergency Treatment for Frost Damage
If the leaves turn black, immediately move it to an environment of 15℃, prune the damaged parts, and then spray with brassinolactone (0.01mg/L), and apply wood ash to the wounds to prevent infection.
Through precise control of temperature, light, and water-fertilizer, combined with preventive measures for frost damage, the safety of rosehip in winter can be ensured.
