In recent years, the Ice Fleece Palm has become a new internet sensation in the succulent world, thanks to its fluffy leaves and unique silver-gray hue. Although this plant with a plush texture is called a "lazy person's potted plant," it still requires mastering several key elements of care to achieve a plump and icy texture.

Scientific Water Control Plan
The Ice Fleece Palm has typical drought-resistant characteristics. It is recommended to water thoroughly once every 15-20 days in spring and autumn, and extend to 25 days during the high temperatures of summer. Judge whether to replenish water by observing the condition of the middle leaves. Water when the leaves show slight wrinkles. It is suggested to use the immersion pot method, and remove it immediately after water seeps from the bottom drainage hole to avoid waterlogging and root rot.
Light Intensity Control

Maintain an ideal growth range of 10-28°C. The plant can endure short-term temperatures as low as -3°C in winter but requires strict water control. During continuous high temperatures in summer,陶粒 (陶粒 means ceramsite) can be used to cover the surface to lower root temperature. Creating an 8-10°C day-night temperature difference in spring and autumn can effectively stimulate the icy blue characteristics on the leaf edges.
Advanced Shaping Techniques
By controlling the growth, a compact plant shape can be achieved. Appropriate extension of the watering interval promotes the germination of lateral buds. Rotate the pot 180 degrees monthly to maintain even light exposure, and apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizers in spring and autumn to make the leaf edge fluffier. For clustering plants, division propagation can be used, and the cut should be dried for 3 days before repotting.
