Ground Planting Site Selection and Soil Improvement
Site Selection Key Points
Choose a sunny slope with 4-6 hours of daily sunlight, avoiding low-lying areas prone to water accumulation. The soil layer depth should be greater than 40cm, with the groundwater level below 1.2 meters, ensuring soil porosity between 25%-30%.
Soil Improvement
For clay soil, mix in 30% coarse sand and decomposed leaf soil; for sandy soil, mix in 20% peat soil. Apply 50g of bone meal and 2kg of decomposed chicken manure per square meter, adjusting the pH to 6.0-7.0 for optimal conditions.
Intelligent Water and Fertilizer Management Plan
Precise Irrigation
Water thoroughly after planting, maintaining soil moisture at 60%-70% during the growing period. Use a drip irrigation system, supplying 15L of water per square meter every 3 days in summer and 20L per week in spring and autumn. Dig drainage ditches in advance during the rainy season, maintaining a slope of 3%-5%.
Scientific Fertilization
Apply a compound fertilizer of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium (15-30-15) at 50g per square meter during the germination period, and increase the application of potassium dihydrogen phosphate foliar fertilizer (concentration 0.2%) during the bud formation stage. Light and Temperature Control
Shading Strategy
Set up a 50% shade net from June to August, covering from 10:00 to 15:00 daily. When the environmental temperature exceeds 30℃, use misting to cool, maintaining the leaf surface temperature at 25-28℃.
Overwintering Management
Before frost, cover with a 10cm thick layer of straw, and in the northern regions, add a layer of anti-cold film. Maintain the soil temperature above -5℃, gradually removing the covering in 3 stages as the spring warms up.
Ecosystem Maintenance
Weed Control
Lay down black horticultural ground cloth, combined with manual weeding. Till the soil once a month during the growing season to a depth of 5-8cm, and simultaneously check the bulb development.
Disease and Pest Control
Regularly spray sophoraflavescens alkaloid to control aphids, and use mancozeb 800 times solution to prevent grey mold before the rainy season. Immediately remove plants with bacterial wilt, and disinfect the affected area with quicklime.
