Slow-release Nutrition Supply
After the adaptation period, apply a special fertilizer for pineapple plants (N-P-K=10-15-10) diluted to one-fourth of the standard concentration monthly. Use the potting method to inject the fertilizer solution into the leaf cup and combine it with foliar application of seaweed extract to promote inflorescence development.
Special Care Techniques
Timing for Media Replacement
After two months of care in the original pot, replace when the aerial roots are exposed above the medium surface. Use a mixed medium of 4:3:3 ratio of sphagnum moss, coconut bran, and pine bark, retain 1/3 of the protective soil for transplanting, and let the plant rest for a week after potting to recover.
Through 30 days of systematic care, the plant will complete the adaptation period. Regularly observe the water accumulation in the leaf cup and the condition of the leaf tips, adjust the care plan in a timely manner, and after about 3 months, you can enjoy the characteristic red inflorescence blooming.
