The Guanyin lotus is a type of fleshy plant in the Crassulaceae family. If well-maintained, the tips of its leaves will turn purple-red, as if coated with a red sheen, making them very elegant and cute. In fact, the Guanyin lotus is a very easy-to-bloom fleshy plant. To achieve the ideal blooming effect of dense leaves and continuous sprouting of small side buds, do not let it grow too fast. Using a bit of slow-release fertilizer and increasing it appropriately is enough. If it grows too fast, it may become leggy and lose its shape.
Third, good lighting
Fleshy plants prefer plenty of sunlight, and the Guanyin lotus is no exception. During spring, autumn, and winter, it should be placed in the best-lit areas. In summer, it should be kept in a shady place. If the lighting is insufficient, the leaves will appear lighter in color without red or purple tips, which is not aesthetically pleasing. Under good lighting and sufficient water, the side buds of the Guanyin lotus will sprout quickly. Sometimes, ten small plants can sprout in half a month. Keeping these small plants will make the pot too small for them when they grow up.
