For propagating Campsis, the timing can be chosen in spring or autumn. In southern regions or using old branches as cuttings, propagation should be done in spring. In northern regions, propagation is done in autumn using new branches as cuttings, chosen in July to August. 1. Propagation Timing
For propagating Campsis, the timing should be chosen based on the cuttings and the region. If using old branches as cuttings, it can be done around March. 2. Cutting Selection
Both old and new branches of Campsis can be used as cuttings for propagation. Choosing vigorous branches free of diseases and pests as cuttings can improve the survival rate and promote rooting. After selecting the branches, cut them to 10 to 15 centimeters, leaving only 2 to 3 leaves at the top, and cut off the rest to reduce nutrient consumption.
3. Substrate Preparation
