Tulips are not very sensitive to temperature and have good cold resistance. Generally, they can be planted from September to November. You can choose to mix leaf mold soil with peat soil as the soil for growing tulips, then bury the healthy bulbs at a depth of about ten centimeters, making sure the entire bulb is covered. Then, moisten the soil and wait for a while for the young sprouts to grow. Be careful not to water too much.

The growth of tulips requires plenty of light. You can place them on a well-lit balcony for cultivation, ensuring at least eight hours of sunlight every day. Tulips need even more light during the blooming period. However, if you encounter strong sunlight in the summer, you still need to provide some shade, or they can easily get sunburned.
In winter, when the temperature is relatively low, it is recommended to place the tulips inside the room. Tulips have good cold resistance and can grow normally as long as the room temperature does not drop below 0°.
Ⅲ. Water and Fertilizer Management
When watering tulips, be sure to do it moderately and not too much at once to prevent waterlogging from affecting their growth. Water them only when the soil in the pot is completely dry. In spring and autumn, water about once every ten days, and in summer, when the temperature is high, water every one to two days. Before flowering, be sure to fertilize the tulips, mainly with phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, which will make the tulips bloom more beautifully.
