Leafy Calytrix, an evergreen dwarf shrub with an upright stem and many dense branches. Opposite leaves are small, linear-lanceolate, and bright green. The flowers are small and numerous, covering the flower bed in full bloom, resembling a sea of stars, hence the name Full Moon Flower. The flowers are solitary in the leaf axils, with a unique structure, the calyx extending into a corolla-like shape, tall and dish-shaped, with purple, light purple, or white flowers. The flowering period is from spring to autumn, with the purple cigar plant flowering continuously throughout the year. It prefers sunlight but can tolerate semi-shade and grows normally under full sun or semi-sun conditions. It thrives in well-drained sandy soil. It is an excellent material for flower beds and low hedges.
