Rose Dendrobium, with pendant stems, is fleshy and thick, green, cylindrical; leaves are nearly leathery, narrowly lanceolate; the raceme is very short, emerging from the upper part of the leafless old stem, flowers are thick-textured and spreading; sepals and petals are white, with a light purple upper middle part, becoming waxy after drying, petals are broadly obovate, blooming from March to April. The stems of Rose Dendrobium can be used as medicine, with the effects of nourishing the stomach, promoting salivation, moistening yin, and eliminating heat, used for symptoms such as dry mouth and thirst due to heat diseases, insufficient stomach yin, non-receding deficiency heat, yin injury with blurred vision, and weakness in the waist and knees.
