Echeveria 'Hens and Chicks' Plant Introduction

Echeveria minima — Crassulaceae Echeveria, native to Mexico, commonly known as Little Red Dress. Echeveria minima is a miniature plant, consisting of plump, small leaves forming dense rose-like rings. The leaves are short, not elongated. They are blue with a frosty appearance, and the leaf tips and edges are rose red. Echeveria minima is also difficult to form clusters. It has a diameter of 20-40 mm with 30-50 leaves. Note the difference between Echeveria minima and Echeveria minima cv. (known in Japan as Meieni O-Hime Gakushu). The cv. version is a hybrid horticultural variety, grows faster than Echeveria minima, and is also more likely to produce side shoots and propagate.
