"Forget Me Not": This refers to the cut flower "Forget Me Not", also known as补血草, the most common dried flower variety.
Flower language: Eternal love and forever memories
Cut flower "Forget Me Not" is probably one of the most frequently appearing flowers in all cut flower bouquets, with fresh and dried flowers almost indistinguishable.
Its advantages are also prominent: super long preservation time, diverse colors, and attractive flower shapes.
Although "Forget Me Not" is a very inexpensive flower, costing only a few dollars for a large bundle, it is still worth a try for flower enthusiasts who love to plant flowers, and it is quite suitable as a perennial.

What do "Forget Me Not" seeds look like?
"Forget Me Not" seeds: Black and gray, thin and long, about 5-6mm in length, considered medium-sized in the seed world.
I didn't specifically germinate the seeds when I planted them; I sowed them directly. Here is the sowing record and timeline for everyone's reference. I feel that germination is actually quite easy to overdo, as the seed coating is not very thick, so direct sowing is a bit better.

Precautions for sowing
Sowing time: Spring/Autumn
Temperature: 18-22℃
Soil selection: Suggest pure peat/peat + vermiculite + loose humus soil (fine particles for seedling raising are best)
Sunlight: Full sunlight
Assistance: Need to cover the soil 3-6mm, best to cover with film
Sowing seedling time: About 5-10 days (the seedlings emerge relatively uniformly)

"Forget Me Not" sowing timeline record
Located in Beijing, mid-March, indoor seedling emergence, outdoor growth
Time: 2020.03.22 (18-20℃): Seedlings emerged
Medium: Peat + vermiculite
Seedling time: About a week (seedlings emerge relatively uniformly)
Time: 2020.03.30: Start to sprout the third leaf
Because the temperature in Beijing at this time is not high enough, it has always been two leaves, but the third leaf can already be seen, and it is much healthier than before.
How to plant "Forget Me Not" seeds
Time: 2020.04.09: The fourth leaf appears
Leaves appear successively, basically four leaves, a bit tender and yellow because not enough sunlight was given.
In fact, it is time to prepare for transplantation at this point, but I didn't pay enough attention to it at the time.
Key point: Transplant! Too dense will affect each other, grow slowly, because later it will grow very large, and it is perennial, meaning it will have a long period of development.
Time: 2020.04.18: The sixth to eighth leaves appear
Because the temperature started to rise, the growth rate is still quite fast, in less than 10 days, basically 6-8 leaves, a bit crowded, so you can't be lazy when growing flowers.
Time: 2020.05.06: Basically a seedling
"Forget Me Not" gradually grows into a pot of vegetables. Do the leaf shapes have the feeling of radish seedlings? The leaf surface also has a layer of tiny bristles.
